Sound Trap effectively perceives and localizes weak sounds. Separate microphone, receiver, amplifier and volume control in each cup give Sound Trap true stereophonic reception. Impulsive noise immediately attenuated. Assisted by an "electronic vent," the hearing protector is designed to reduce hazardous impulse noise from firearms to harmless levels within 5 milliseconds. This minimises the risk of hazardous noise reaches the ear with risk of permanent damage. Peltor Sound Trap is a hearing protector that listens when appropriate and also attenuates when appropriate.
